    Oftentimes errors are made when a facility is not well educated nor equipped with information regarding the appropriate regulations that pertain to the multiple public agencies that are involved.

    The operation of an assisted living facility must be in compliance with federal, state and local laws such as health, fire, zoning, etc.

    In addition starting, modifying or closing can be costly if important steps are not taken into consideration.

  • Policy and Procedure

    The facility policy and procedures are required to provide guidelines of how the facility will enforce and maintain compliance. We provide detailed policy and procedures according to the state specific guidelines that are realistic, accurate and manageable to provide the ultimate resident care.

    The facility can request the additional: Medication Management, Infection Control, Emergency Evacuation, resident and staff handbooks, with all the facility required documentation for records, binders and posting for an additional $999.00.

  • Property Review

    $2750.00 (additional cost if over 60 miles outside of Houston)

    Need help with deciding if the property is a good fit?

    Not every property can be licensed. We assist with review of locality rules and regulations, Life Safety codes, requirements for retrofitting, underground systems for upgrades and conversions, compliance with state and federal regulations, requirements for operating and ensuring the property is an all-around good fit. During a change of ownership, we conduct the property review to confirm changes are required prior to the change of ownership.

  • Market Analysis

    We will provide a detailed review of the proposed market.

    The review provides understanding of the market such as need, cost, demographics, and the potential for success in the desired targeted area.

  • Mock Inspection Training

    This 2-day, 8-hour training is interactive and hand-on, tailored for Regional and Key leadership positions. It covers conducting Mock Inspections, utilizing state forms available on public websites. Participants learn what to look for and the associated regulatory standards.

  • Mixed Population Review

    This 4-hour interactive training focuses on managing facilities with mixed populations in unsecured units. It covers standards for overseeing physical plant, staffing, and service plans.

  • Enhancing Resident Activities

    This 4-hour training focuses on regulatory standards for resident activities in secured and unsecured units. It will assess current activities and provide recommendations based on resident acuity levels, facility calendars, and staff feedback.
